Theme Used: Midnight in Paris
This session featured the Midnight in Paris template collection, a fan-favorite theme known for its elegant cityscape, sparkling accents, and versatile layout options. Using this theme, we edited several template types, including:
1. Postcard Template (2ร1 Print Layout)
We began by duplicating the postcard layout inside Templates Manager before applying color changes, correcting missing fonts, and updating metallic accents from gold to silver using selective Hue/Saturation adjustments.
2. iPad Screen Designs
Next, the portrait screens were customized. Text was updated, colors were recolored to the new purple-silver palette, and simplified secondary screens were created for share flows or multi-step user interfaces. Sample buttons were hidden prior to export for clean background images.
3. Button Set for Midnight in Paris
The button set was opened, organized into groups, and recolored using outer glow tweaks and colorization. Using Copy Layer Style allowed batch-updating icons all at once, saving major time. Buttons were exported as PNG assets and visually tested over screen backgrounds to confirm readability and contrast.
